Calls came out for a shorter version of the new edition, focusing on the original measurments and images. In the hope of making a smaller volume, and costing significantly less, the deep dive into the treasures offered from the access to the RKK Encyclopedia and the Cosmonautica Magazine Archive (1940-2040) was abandoned. I bow to the requests. This abridged volume represents a narrow view of materials related only to the N1. While it represents a quantum improvement in CGI work based on the accumulated information over the previous ten years, it also represents a net loss of roughly 350 pages from the original 2nd edition. One Volume aimed at the scale modeler's interests.

Detailed analysis of the N1 superbooster and the Soviet/Russian space program with the aid of access to the RKK Encyclopedia , Cosmonautica and the addition of legendary image analyist Charles Vick. This 2nd edition improves on all measurement made in the original 2013 edition and explores the impact of the N1 program on the Soviet/Russian space effort from 1940 up to 2040. All of the CGI work has been enhanced. New access to the metal stress test model of the N1 by Alex Shliadinsky had yielded improved measurements for the modeler.

All of the new CGI image in one volume
Thank you to the authors for making the abridged version. I would like the two part edition, but really need the new measurments and the one volume edition is a great compromise at a good price. I am glad it has all of the new CGI image improvements and the amazing work of Shliadinsky getting even more accurate numbers. Thanks again for making this available.
