Estes Flying Model Rocket Kit Hyper Bat EST 7217

The Estes Hyper Bat isn’t just another rocket; it’s an adrenaline-packed, two-stage flyer built to push your launches higher than ever before. Designed for rocketeers ready to take the next step, this intermediate-level rocket combines bold performance with unforgettable visual flair. With the ability to soar to an incredible 2,125 feet, the Hyper Bat™ will make every countdown feel like a leap into the unknown.

Striking Design That Stands Out

What makes the Hyper Bat instantly recognizable are its dramatic bat wing-shaped fins and bold black finish accented with crisp white decals. On the launch pad, it looks fierce and ready to strike. In the air, its sleek profile slices cleanly through the sky. Whether flying single stage or powering through with a booster, the Hyper Bat™ looks as good as it performs.

Powerful Two-Stage Performance

The Hyper Bat is built for altitude seekers. Fly it single-stage on B and C engines for quick, high flights, or push it to the max with a booster stage and upper stage combination. With recommended engine setups ranging from A8-0/B6-0/C6-0 boosters to A8-5/B6-6/C6-7 upper stages, you’ll unlock flights that climb to heart-pounding heights and deliver smooth parachute recoveries.

Quality Build and Reliable Recovery

At 21.9 inches tall with a body diameter of 0.98 inches, the Hyper Bat balances sleek lines with sturdy construction. Laser cut balsa wood fins ensure lightweight durability, while the included 12-inch parachute recovery system brings your rocket safely back to Earth. With a finished weight of just 1.8 ounces, it’s lightweight yet tough enough to handle repeated launches.

What You’ll Need

Some assembly is required, making this rocket a rewarding project for hobbyists ages 10 and up (adult supervision under 12). To complete your build, you’ll need basic supplies such as scissors, glue, sandpaper, masking tape, and paint for finishing. For launch day, grab your Porta-Pad® II Launch Pad, Electron Beam® Launch Controller, Estes recovery wadding, and your choice of recommended engines. Then, prepare for the thrill of launching a rocket that looks as fierce as it flies.
