Estes Flying Model Rocket Kit Boxed Astro Assembler EST 0649

A Rocket You Build Piece by Piece

The Astro Assembler™ reimagines what a model rocket can be. Instead of a traditional smooth body, this rocket is constructed using 3D interlocking puzzle segments that snap together around the body tube. Each piece clicks into place, turning the build into a hands-on, satisfying experience that feels more like solving a puzzle than assembling a kit.

With sixty individual pieces to work with, every step keeps builders engaged. It is approachable for beginners, yet different enough to feel new even for experienced hobbyists looking for something creative.

Make It Your Own

This is not just a rocket you build, it is one you design. The Astro Assembler lets you mix and match puzzle piece colors to create your own pattern, then finish it off with bold, space-themed decals featuring planets, stars, and a playful astronaut.

No two builds have to look the same. Whether you go for clean symmetry or something more imaginative, the result is a rocket that feels personal before it ever leaves the ground.

Designed for First Flights and Big Smiles

With a beginner-friendly build and straightforward assembly process, the Astro Assembler is perfect for new rocketeers ready to move beyond basic kits. It introduces hands-on building concepts while keeping the process fun and frustration-free.

Once complete, this rocket delivers the kind of performance that makes the effort worth it. It launches on Estes B4-4, B6-4, and C6-5 engines and can soar up to 850 feet before deploying its 15 inch parachute for a smooth, reliable recovery.

A True STEAM Experience

The Astro Assembler blends creativity with engineering in a way that naturally introduces key STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) concepts. Builders explore structure, balance, and assembly while also making artistic choices that shape the final design.

It is a hands-on way to connect science and creativity, giving younger rocketeers a deeper understanding of how rockets are built while keeping the experience fun and engaging from start to finish.

Ready for Repeat Launches

Once you see it lift off for the first time, you will want to fly it again and again. The lightweight design, durable molded plastic fins, and dependable parachute recovery system make it easy to prep, launch, and recover for multiple flights in a single session.

From the first puzzle piece to the final countdown, the Astro Assembler delivers a build and launch experience that keeps you coming back.
