Quest Flying Model Rocket Bulk Pack 4 Kits Astra, Novia, Starhawk, Viper(12pk) QST 5478
Perfect for small classrooms or groups and family rocket outings! Features 4 of our most popular classroom program rocket kits!
The Mixed Rocket Classroom Value Pack of 12 rockets (3 each of Novia, Starhawk, Astra, & Viper) are perfect for schools, camps, clubs and youth group programs including the Civil Air Patrol, 4H, Starbase and Scouting’s Space Exploration Merit Badge requirements.
Novia: The Novia model rocket is one of the most traditional of our kits. The Novia features balsa wood fins and streamer recovery. Did you know the Novia has five possible fin configurations? Group building sessions are easy with the included color coded parts.
Starhawk: When Team Quest hits the road to work with kids, the Starhawk model rocket is the rocket of choice for tight budgets and smaller flying fields. The Starhawk's streamlined construction, single piece fin-unit, and streamer recovery ensure that it can be built and ready for launch in a single 45 minute session! This kit does not require painting and colors of the nose cone and fin-unit may be different than shown in the image.
Astra: The flagship of the Quest model rocket line! The Quest Astra is one of the most widely used model rocket kits offered and features Quest's TTW “Through-The-Wall” balsa fin design. TTW fin attachment makes building so much easier. It really helps you glue the rocket fins on straight and in the correct position. The Astra includes color coded parts to make identification for assembly easier. It uses a Kevlar shock cord that is anchored right to the engine mount for reliable recovery. These features give you the benefit of a more successful building experience.
Viper: The Viper model rocket combines the simplicity of a single piece fin-unit with the added complexity of parachute recovery. The Viper model rocket provides the perfect combination of a challenge and precision flight. One-piece plastic fin-unit simply slides into position on the body tube. Color coded parts make group building sessions much easier for an adult leader. One of our all-time group favorites! This kit does not require painting and colors of the nose cone and fin-unit may be different than shown in the image.
Quest Skill Level 1 beginner modeler kits may require a little measuring, gluing, sanding and painting. Assembly usually takes 45 to 90 minutes. Drying time for glue and painting could take up to 3 hours.
These kits require assembly. Hobby glues, finishing supplies, building tools, launch system and rocket motors for launching are not included.
