Great, cheap fun!
Very easy build, quality parts. Great beginner build. I built it with my 6 year old, and he was able to do the whole thing himself with minor guidance. It's a bit heavier than most rockets this size, but for what it is, and the current price, not a big deal. The first launch was with an A8-3. It had a hard time getting off the ground, went up about 50 feet, hit the ground hard, ejected the chute, total fail. Great fun! No damage at all. I don't know if it was a dud engine or the rocket was too heavy. Second try was with C6-5 and... what a great flight! Definitely went higher than the 260 on the box. I didn't check the altitude, but it was every bit as high as most of the other lighter Estes rockets we launched that day, and higher than most. Fantastic flight, no damage, great fun! Pick up one or a few of these. You can build it in literally a few minutes, and the payload bay is a great bonus!
