LOC Precision Flying Model Rocket Kit Viper III PK-20
Are you looking for a model rocket with some "bite" to it? LOC-Precision's VIPER III is a unique design featuring 3 x 24mm motor propulsion and a motor mount tube cluster that extends aft of the main airframe tube. Using a classical fin attachment technique, the plywood fins attach to the valleys between neighboring motor mount tubes. The Viper III can fly on D- to F-class engines, attaining altitudes over 1800' using 3 E motors. The model returns safely to Earth via a parachute recovery!
As with other LOC-Precision kits, the Viper III includes heavy duty airframe and motor mount tubes, high-grade precision-cut plywood centering rings and fins, rip-stop nylon parachute, etc. A 1/4" launch rod is required and positive engine retention is recommended (sold separately).
