LOVED the thickness of the tubes and heavy nose cone

Posted by Dan on 1st Sep 2023

My first build using epoxy. LOVED the thickness of the tubes and heavy nose cone. Made a modification to be able to add a motor retainer. Also added a thrust ring to cap the motor length at 140mm. Used a spacer with an Estes F15-6 motor; I loved hearing this thing rip through the sky for 3.5 seconds of burn time and coasting for another 6 seconds to about 1,200 feet. My first **REAL** LOC kit after the 1" Hi-Tech and Estes kits. I'd like to give this thing 4*s due to the very limited instructions, but it flew so well that I won't deduct a star.

I would not recommend this as one's very first rocket kit due to the limited instructions though.
