eRockets celebrates the launch of Apollo 11, 50 years ago

Randy Boadway and members of the eRockets team and Wright Stuff Rocketeers(WSR) sponsored a Saturn V launch at 9:32 am on Tuesday, July 16th, this was the same time 50 years ago when the Saturn V took off for the moon. The excitement built as hundreds of people eagerly awaited the flight on the lawn of the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The team played the final 20 second countdown from a recording of the real launch 50 year prior. The liftoff was perfectly timed as the news media watched and filmed for the days newscast.
