ASP Flying Model Rocket Kit Sandia Sandhawk 29mm

The Sandia Sandhawk was developed as an upper stage for sounding rocket systems. The Sandhawk flew three times as a single stage rocket between 1966 and 1974.

The Sandia Sandhawk has long been a favorite of scale modelers. This new kit is over 3 1/2 feet tall and features thru-the-wall laser-cut plywood fins, balsa nose cone, wire antennas, steel cable shock cord mount and self-adhesive decals.

Makes a great intro to mid-power rocketry and flies fantastic on 29mm F and G engines! Kit has accurate scale outline but is a fairly easy build and leaves room for the modeler to add additional details if desired.
